Each month during the school year, the Pattonville Board of Education honors students, staff and volunteers who have gained recognition outside of the district. Students and staff from Rose Acres Elementary School, Holman Middle School, Pattonville Heights Middle School and Pattonville High School were recognized in January.

The Fiber Arts Club will meet during contact time in Ms. Mulanax's room E206 this Thursday, Jan 13th.  Come by before then to get a pass. 

 

There will be a DECA and FBLA meeting this Thursday during contact time in room B212.  Please see Mrs. Martinez or Mr. Thames for a pass.

 

Girls lacrosse team is going to have a pre season meeting in the commons during contact time this Thursday 

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY:

Pattonville needs volunteers to referee elementary school basketball on Mondays from 3:45-5:30pm.  Stop by the CSO in room E200 to sign up!

 

Four file for seats on Pattonville school board

Four candidates filed to be placed on the April 5 election ballot to fill two open seats on Pattonville Board of Education. Those who filed to serve a three-year term on the board are, in order of filing, Daniel Wentz, incumbent Mary Kay Campbell, Summer Johnson and Akeia P. Mathis. Board members whose terms are expiring are Campbell and Ruth Petrov. Find out more about each candidate below.

Chemistry students complete ionic compound lab

Chemistry students at Pattonville High School did a microscale lab on Tuesday. They took one drop of 13 different solutions and mixed it with one drop of each of the other solutions to see if a reaction took place. The color changes for some were pretty dramatic.
 
“Microscaling labs are popular because the students still see the reaction, but it cuts way down on waste and resources needed for each lab,” chemistry teacher Rebecca Byrne said.
